EN_[T]he Cannonball Tree [. . .] testifies to colonial history, embodies transnational constellations, and conveys migrating relationships: a memorial installation, a cultural historical assemblage, a postcolonial memorial tree, a move towards decolonization. [. . .] Dangling alongside the yellow buoys—an industrially manufactured product that can be purchased in nautical supply stores—there are vases printed with blue-and-white patterns.
